Short session on kerfoots the river medlock

usually used as a diving pool by senseless kids. This unlikely looking section of the river medlock behind recipharm (form

erly kerfoots) landed me 2 lovely little brownies. Using my Shakespeare sigma 8ft feeder. Sigma 40fs reel with 6lb berkeley trilene with a 30g closed feeder about 12 inches from a size 14 drennan wide gape fished straight through. Filled the feeder with casters from a days gone by session and worm from the garden. An upside down square of carpet gets my worm for free. Bloody expensive nowadays. To say we were there no more than an hour and a half. And by we i mean myself. My heavily pregnant Mrs. My neighbours 10 year old and a german shepherd id say 2 brownies wasnt a bad result. And after weeks of saying to my usual fishing buddies i thought it would hold fish. And hearing no chance many times. I came, i saw, i conquered and if you even think theres a possibility you will find a fish in an unlikely spot. Drop a rod in. At worst youll get a few hours of peace and quiet. (Other than the roar of a weir in this instance). Apologies no photos of the fish but did get one on film which will be part of an episode on my youtube channel when i get my head around it and more so long enough away from the waters edge to do it.
